Pepsi MAX has unveiled details of its 30-second Super Bowl ad featuring talk show host Regis Philbin. The Check-Out commercial depicts a competitor's deliveryman attempting to discreetly purchase a bottle of Pepsi MAX at the supermarket when he unexpectedly becomes the winner of Pepsi MAX for Life. Regis appears as an 'on the spot' reporter getting the embarrassed driver's thoughts on his big win. Singer Jennifer Nettles has recorded a renowned country ballad to accompany the spot. The ad comes in addition to the recently announced Pepsi Super Bowl ad featuring Sir Elton John and The X Factor USA winner Melanie Amaro, and is Regis's first TV project since leaving talk show Live with Regis and Kelly last year.
